Meet the Surgery Team
Mr. Adam Frosh FRCS(Ed), FRCS (ORL-HNS)
Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeon
General ENT, specialist rhinological and ENT – allergy service.
Mr. Frosh was appointed Consultant at the East and North Herts NHS Trust in March 2000. He is able to provide general ENT and specialist rhinological and ENT-allergy service. He also works as a Research Fellow at Imperial College.
He is happy to see referrals across the spectrum of ENT conditions (adults and children) including adult and children’s hearing problems, snoring, hayfever and sinusitis, cosmetic and post-traumatic rhinoplasty and conditions affecting the voice.
Mr. Frosh is able to perform endoscopic examinations of the nose and throat at the Hertfordshire Clinic as well as providing audiological assessments, allergy testing and specialist ENT examinations.
Mr. Andrew Thurston MA, FRCS, FEBU
Urology/Vasectomies
Prostatic disease. Urological malignancy, Stone disease, full prostate assessment and vasectomy service.
As many of you are aware, Andrew Thurston has been consulting at the Hertfordshire Clinic since its inception a year ago. He is now able to offer a full prostate assessment, including flow rate, ultrasound measurement of residual urine and, if indicated, trans-rectal ultrasound-guided biopsy of the prostate.
The above is in addition to his general urological consultations and vasectomy service as already established here at the Hertfordshire Clinic.
Mr. Assumaco Vito Marchon MBBs, FRCS(I), FRCS
Minor Surgery
Hand surgery, minor injuries, joint injections, 'lumps & bumps removals' and cosmetic surgery.
Mr. Marchon started training in 1973 abroad at Goa Medical College and then moved to the United Kingdom in 1976. He then worked and trained at hospitals across the country and in 1987 accepted the position as a Consultant in Accident and Emergency/Trauma Surgeon at St Albans Hemel Hempstead NHS Trust.
